Thylander has assisted AP Pension in the purchase of BoStad A/S and will in the future manage and develop the property portfolio of more than 70 properties.

In a press release issued earlier today, AP Pension announced an agreement with the American investment company Castlelake to buy the Danish real estate company Bostad A/S and their entire portfolio of properties in Denmark.

Thylander has assisted AP Pension in the transaction and will in the future also cooperate with AP Pension on management and development of the portfolio.

The deal is also an element in AP Pension and BankInvest expanding their existing collaboration in the area of asset management with investments in residential properties.

The deal includes more than 70 residential properties located in and around 12 regional growth cities on Zealand, Funen and Jutland.

Partner and chairman of the board Lars Thylander says: “We are very proud of this transaction and are pleased with the trust that AP Pension has shown us,” and adds: “We see the deal as a first step in a strong long-term collaboration that entails great perspectives for both us and AP Pension in relation to this portfolio.”

As part of the agreement, Thylander will take over a strong team of the key employees from BoStad A/S, who will continue their work at Thylander Gruppen A/S.

“The team at BoStad has done a fantastic job of running and developing the portfolio and we are very much looking forward to welcoming the talented employees from BoStad to us,” concludes Lars Thylander.
