PFA DK Ejendomme Høj, owned by the PFA Pension Fund, has just sold the properties of Amager Strandvej 390 and Hedegaardsvej 88 to Wihlborgs for DKK 1,075 billion. The sale takes place after eight years of transformation, where the two iconic properties of a total of 52,000 m2, which were originally built as headquarters for the airline company SAS, have been under significant development. The properties are close to Copenhagen Airport and metro stations.
“Together with Thylander, we have been running the properties since 2014 and in line with our strategy of rebalancing the portfolio, we have decided to sell the properties,” says PFA’s Investment Director Peter Morgan.
With assistance on the seller’s side from Colliers and the law firm Poul Schmidt, the transaction is realized in an efficient process and the properties are transferred as of September 1, 2022. Partner Henrik Køhn from Thylander is pleased with the significant value that has been added to the properties over the past eight years.
“We oversaw the transaction in June 2014 for PFA, and great value has subsequently been created by executing the business plan – including repositioning, multi-user leasing and energy-optimizing initiatives. We congratulate Wihlborgs on the purchase of these fine properties,” says Henrik Køhn.
