Thylander completes TGP VIII with four investments across more than 25,000 sqm in Greater Copenhagen
Thylander has completed four investments for TGP VIII, comprising 318 apartments across more than 25,000 sqm in Greater Copenhagen, bringing the fund to fully invested. Three out of the four investments were sourced off-market, underlining Thylander’s ability to access attractive residential opportunities in the market.
The investments include residential assets in Vallensbæk, Skovlunde, Søborg and Hvidovre.
The Vallensbæk property comprises 83 residential units across 7,733 sqm and is directly adjacent to Vallensbæk Station, providing immediate access to S-train connections to central Copenhagen.
The property in Skovlunde comprises 59 residential units across 3,646 sqm and adds further exposure to a well-established residential area in Greater Copenhagen with strong connectivity and access to everyday amenities.
The property acquired in Søborg comprises 42 residential units across 4,099 sqm. The property benefits from an attractive and supply-constrained location with limited land availability and low levels of new development.
The Hvidovre property comprises 134 residential units across 9,666 sqm and is located next to Friheden Station, offering convenient access to the S-train network as well.
All four investments are located within the Copenhagen Finger Plan, aligning closely with Thylander’s investment strategy, which focuses on residential assets in well-connected suburban markets supported by urban densification and infrastructure development.
“With TGP VIII now fully invested, we have reached an important achievement for the fund. We are confident in the quality of the portfolio we have built and its long-term fundamentals. Our focus now turns to active asset management to support sustained performance,” says Michael Brichmann, Partner & COO at Thylander.
Following the final four investments, TGP VIII now comprises nine well-diversified residential assets across Greater Copenhagen, reflecting the fund’s core plus residential strategy and with a total portfolio value of approximately 3 billion DKK.
