Thylander acquires Skovlunde Byhave

Thylander has completed the acquisition of Skovlunde Byhave - a newly built, DGNB Gold-certified residential development located in the heart of Skovlunde, Greater Copenhagen. The property has been acquired for the TG Partners VIII-fund, and the transaction was facilitated by Colliers on behalf of the seller, 1927 Estate.

Skovlunde Byhave comprises a total of 168 residential units, including 106 apartments and 62 terraced houses, spanning 13,553 square metres. Completed in 2024, the development is fully let and offers a vibrant residential community surrounded by attractive green spaces and contemporary architecture. Developed by 1927 Estate, the project has been designed with a strong focus on creating an inviting and innovate neighbourhood environment, by combining modern apartments and family-friendly townhouses to suit a variety of lifestyles.

Skovlunde Byhave is a perfect match for our investment strategy and strengthens our ambition to build a robust platform of high-quality residential properties in Greater Copenhagen. We are pleased to have completed this acquisition following a thorough and constructive due diligence process, says Michael Brichmann, Partner & COO at Thylander.

At Colliers, the deal is highlighted as an example of strong investor demand for modern residential assets in the Greater Copenhagen area:

There is significant demand for new rental housing in the Capital Region, and Skovlunde Byhave represents exactly the kind of property investors are looking for – modern, well-located and with a strong tenant base. The transaction exemplifies a pragmatic and solution-oriented process between the parties, says Søren Lindbjerg, Director & Partner, Capital Markets at Colliers.

With this acquisition, Thylander continues to strengthen its residential investment platform in Greater Copenhagen with the addition of another high-quality, sustainable property to its growing portfolio.
