In collaboration with the fund’s institutional investors, PFA and Industriens Pension, Thylander has added a further 28 residential leases and five commercial leases to the Danske Boligejendomme fund, which has a total portfolio of approximately DKK 1 billion distributed over 32 properties in Jutland and on Zealand.
This is done with the purchase of the property Dronning Margrethes Vej 2-4B / Sankt Ols Gade 24 – a centrally located property in Roskilde, just west of Copenhagen. The property’s floor area amounts to a total of 2,605 sqm divided into 28 residential leases and five smaller commercial leases.
“At Thylander, we put a lot of work into hand-picking the right properties for our investors and funds. This acquisition matches to that extent our focus on building a strong portfolio in growth cities outside Copenhagen and Aarhus, and it is an area we continue to have great interest in,” says Partner and Director of Thylander, Henrik Køhn and continues: “Roskilde is one of the most attractive cities on Zealand and during the last 10 years it has increased its number of citizens by almost 5,000.”
The property is the fund’s second investment in Roskilde, as Ringstedvej 3A-7C was added to the portfolio in 2019. Here, Thylander – in collaboration with Sophienberg Gruppen, Møgelhøj Arkitekter and the contractor DPU Entreprise – initiated the construction of 14 beautiful two-bedroom penthouse apartments to the property.
